Teriyaki Grilled Pork Tenderloin
Teriyaki Grilled Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
2 pork tenderloins (about 1½–2 lbs total)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for grilling)
For the Teriyaki Marinade:
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
¼ cup rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (for thickening, optional)
Directions:
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade. Reserve ¼ cup for glaze.
Place pork tenderloins in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour remaining marinade over pork. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Preheat grill to medium-high. Remove pork from marinade and pat dry. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Brush grill grates with oil. Grill pork for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
While pork grills, bring reserved marinade to a boil in a small saucepan. Mix cornstarch with water, add to the marinade, and simmer until thickened for a glaze.
Let pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with glaze and serve.
