For the Cake
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup hot water or hot coffee
For the Ganache
1 cup dark chocolate (chopped)
½ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp butter
👩🍳 Directions
1️⃣ Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, mix milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth, then stir in hot water/coffee for a silky batter.
2️⃣ Bake the Cake
Pour into a greased cake pan.
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool completely.
3️⃣ Make the Ganache
Heat cream until warm (don’t boil).
Pour over chopped chocolate and stir until smooth.
Mix in butter for shine.
4️⃣ Create the Unique Swirl Design
Pour ganache over the cooled cake.
Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl patterns on top.
Add berries, gold leaf, or sprinkles for a stunning finish.
