Ingredients 📝
2 fresh habanero peppers (adjust for heat tolerance)
1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
1 small mango, peeled and diced (optional for extra sweetness)
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1 small onion, roughly chopped
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional: 1 teaspoon honey (for extra sweetness)
Instructions 🔪
Sauté the Ingredients:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the habaneros (whole or halved), garlic, and onion. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened.
Blend the Sauce:
Transfer the sautéed ingredients to a blender. Add pineapple, mango (if using), vinegar, orange juice, lime juice, salt, and optional honey. Blend until smooth. Adjust consistency with water if needed.
Taste and Adjust:
Taste the sauce and adjust the sweetness, acidity, or heat to your preference. For extra heat, add another habanero.
Store:
Pour the sauce into a sterilized jar and refrigerate. It will keep for up to 2 weeks.
